Public education, outreach and networking. Act as a clearing house of information immigrant, visible minority and refugee women. Research and present briefs on issues affecting immigrant, visible minority and refugee women. Develop strategies that will combat sexism, racism, poverty, violence against women. Monitor government policies. Lobby governmental and non-governmental organizations to ensure legislation and policies that promote full equality for immigrant and visible minority women.
