The National Organization of Immigrant and Visible Minority Women of Canada exists to ensure equality for immigrant and visible minority women within an officially bilingual and multicultural Canada.

OBJECTIVES

The Objectives of the Organization are:

To form a united national voice and to partner with other national women's groups to improve the status of immigrant and visible minority women.

To put in place strategies that will eradicate sexism, racism, poverty, isolation and violence.

To act as an advocate and raise awareness on all issues that have an impact on immigrant and visible minority women.

To partner with all levels of government, public and private institutions to develop and implement effective policies for social change.
